Headmaster Nierhauve retired |
Posted by W. Niehues (niehues) on Feb 28 2020 |
After forty years as a teacher and almost eight years as the BKCR's headmaster, Fred Nierhauve retired.
While he was headmaster, a lot of things happened - massive renovations of several buildings, dozens of refugees joining our school, constant upgrading of the school's technical equipment, poisonous caterpillars paralyzing the campus for a few days, expanding the school's courses, expanding its international activities.
For a limited time, he will remain a consultant for his successors. His plans are to travel quite a lot - now that he has the time.
As for successors - for the time being, Markus Brechmann took over as temporary headmaster until the legal proceedings around finding a new permanent one will come to an end.
